Pamela is a Senior Director, Human Resources for the American Heart Association.  She has over 21 years of management experience, with almost 15 of those being in Human Resources with a Fortune 100 company and now with a non-profit.  She has managed teams in Talent Management, Employee Relations, and Organizational Development and is currently responsible for leadership development and coaching, employee development, succession management, and driving retention and engagement strategies to reach business objectives.  She will discuss the following objectives:

 

Identify the key factors leading to a high performing and inclusive culture 

Recognize the BEHAVIORS that align with those factors 

Review two communication concepts/skills to build rapport and enhance CONNECTION

Underscore the value of a growth-mindset (the power of "YET") in developing BOLD behavior 

Learn how to drive "discretionary effort" via a culture of safety, inclusion and belonging 

 

Pamela is a Certified Career Management Coach as well as a Certified Executive Leadership and Development Coach and most recently completed her Brain Based Coaching certification.  She is often called on to coach individuals and teams to organizational success.  She is a certified facilitator or Situational Leadership and Targeted Selection Interviewing training.
